Marilyn Stansbury, Associate Dean

Professor Stansbury is the Associate Dean of the online MBA program She is a CPA and a CGMA, with an MBA from Xavier University. She teaches accounting courses, with a focus on financial accounting and auditing. She started her teaching career at Taylor University in 2007, and has been a member of Calvin’s faculty since 2009. Professor Stansbury has taught various business courses in India, Poland and Russia. Prior to becoming a full-time professor, Professor Stansbury worked as an auditor for several years at Deloitte, including three years as a senior manager at Deloitte’s national office. She also worked as a tax accountant at Grant Thornton. Professor Stansbury serves as a reviewer and content writer for the Uniform CPA Examination for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She also writes and updates continuing education courses for an international information services conglomerate.
